Prime Minister Carney meets with European leaders during 1st international trip
Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Paris Monday to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron in his first international trip since he was sworn in. Describing Canada as the ‘most European of non-European countries,’ Carney told Macron he is ‘determined, like you, to maintain the most positive possible relations with the United States.’ Carney will also speak with the U.K. prime minister and King Charles.
