The U.S. military carried out airstrikes on Iran-backed Houthi rebel targets in Yemen on Saturday, with the Houthi-run Health Ministry reporting at least nine civilians had been killed. In an online post, U.S. President Donald Trump said he ordered the strikes in response to Houthi attacks on international shipping in and around the Red Sea.
