Lawyers for two LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations are seeking an injunction against the Alberta government's transgender legislation that prevents doctors from providing gender-affirming treatments for youths under the age of 16. The groups are also challenging the constitutionality of Bill 26, which received royal assent but has not been proclaimed.
