Montreal police boosting efforts to solve over 800 cold cases
The head of the SPVM’s major crimes unit is hiring full-time detectives dedicated to solving cold cases. The unit will also be using genetic genealogy technology. The goal is to help provide some closure to families whose loved ones had been killed.
