Exhibit celebrates more than 100 years of Black art on the Prairies
Hundreds of Black homesteaders settled on the Prairies in the early 1900s. Their lives are the focus of a new exhibit at the Dunlop Art Gallery in Regina for Black History Month. Along with photos, they'll also be screening a documentary about some of the people who settled in Shiloh, Sask. Exhibit curator Alyssa Fearon joined the Morning Edition to talk about it.
