Yumi, a baby Japanese macaque — often referred to as snow monkeys — was born in Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, Iowa, in August. On Monday, she looked upon a snowy habitat for the first time in her life, experiencing the cold on her fur and even taking an experimental taste of the snow from her mother's back.
