Foo Fighters cancels European tour after Dave Grohl breaks ankle
'I'm afraid it's just not physically possible for me at the moment,' rocker said in a statement
Dave Grohl managed to finish a concert with a broken ankle, but he can't finish the Foo Fighters tour.
The Foo Fighters announced Tuesday that they're canceling the rest of their European tour after the frontman was injured in fall onstage in Sweden. Grohl momentarily left to get medical attention, but then managed to finish the show with a bandaged leg. Later, the band tweeted an X-ray of Grohl's fractured foot.

Grohl had surgery Monday and his recovery timeline is unclear. In a separate statement, Grohl thanked fans for their support and offered apologies, saying it killed him to cancel the shows: "I'm afraid it's just not physically possible for me at the moment."
Grohl also recounted the accident and why he got back onstage: "I couldn't stand the thought of such a perfect night going to waste!"
The band's canceled dates include in the United Kingdom and Belgium.
