Carrie Underwood returns with new album Blown Away

Country pop star Carrie Underwood, the most commercially successful American Idol winner to date, is back with a new album. Her fourth record, Blown Away, currently sits at No. 1 in both Canada and the United States.

Underwood talks to Jian Ghomeshi of CBC's Q cultural affairs show about her multiple hit singles, why she's happy to hand over songwriting responsibility to others and how she'd react if her records stopped selling.
