A Windsor, Ont., judge has granted an injunction that prevents union members from blocking the removal of manufacturing equipment from a local tool-and-die maker.

Titan Tool and Die says it wants to send eight pieces of equipment back to customers in Michigan this week. Now, they're expected to leave the facility today.

Unifor Local 195 members blocked a truck from removing them on Monday, saying if the equipment left, their jobs would too.

The company voluntarily removed the product from the truck that same night and filed for an injunction that was argued in court on Thursday.

Titan Tool and Die lawyers had said workers threatened and intimidated the truck driver and that a police report was filed.

A lawyer representing the union pushed for the injunction to be denied because the union wasn't properly notified.
