This week, Condé Nast Traveller, a travel magazine, released their list of the top pizza cities in the world. Many of them you'd expect. Places like New York, Chicago and Naples were on the list.

A Canadian city made the list, but it wasn't Windsor.

Coming in at No. 8 was Edmonton.

Clearly, it's gotten to their heads. Our colleagues at CBC Edmonton are now going so far as to call themselves "Canada's pizza capital."

I had to do something. So, I contacted Mark Connolly. He's the host of CBC Radio's Edmonton AM.

I figured he'd be able to explain how this injustice could happen.

I'm not convinced Edmonton's pies are better than ours. I think I'll have to send a pizza to Mark — only then will he truly understand.
