3 tow trucks found on fire in Brampton overnight

Three tow trucks were found on fire in Brampton overnight on Monday, emergency crews said. Officers found two vehicles on fire just before 1 a.m. near Buffridge Trail and Cresthaven Road, Peel police said in an email Tuesday.

Three tow trucks were found on fire in Brampton overnight on Monday, emergency crews said. 

Officers found two vehicles on fire just before 1 a.m. near Buffridge Trail and Cresthaven Road, Peel police said in an email Tuesday. 

One of the trucks was in the driveway of a home, while the other was on the street, Brampton Fire Chief Nick Ruller said. 

Police found another tow truck on fire near Venetian Terrance and Brisdale Drive. The truck was also in a driveway, Ruller said. 

Crews put out all the fires, and no injuries were reported, police said. 

Police said the incidents are considered suspicious, and an investigation is ongoing. 

The Ontario Fire Marshal will not investigate the fires, spokesperson Sean Driscoll said.
