The man who was at the centre of this summer's bicycle seizures has been charged with assault.

The man who was at the centre of this summer's bicycle seizures has been charged with assault.

Igor Kenk, 50, was arrested in July after police raided several garages and lockups across Toronto and seized more than 2,700 bikes.

Kenk is facing 60 charges related to the alleged bicycle thefts, as well as possession and trafficking of marijuana.

On Sunday, Kenk, who is out on bail, was arrested again after a man threatened the owners of a home near Dufferin Street and Wallace Avenue with a metal pipe.

Police say Kenk was trying to remove some property from the home.

He has been charged with three counts of assault.
