Police search for suspects after Hindu temple vandalism in Halton Region

Police in Halton Region say they are looking for two suspects after a Hindu temple was vandalized in Georgetown, Ont., over the weekend.

Police in Halton Region say they are looking for two suspects after a Hindu temple was vandalized in Georgetown, Ont., over the weekend.

Police say two male suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts were seen leaving a pub in the downtown area around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

They say the suspects were then seen walking to the Sri Krishna Brundavana Temple on Main Street South in Georgetown.

Police allege security footage captured them ripping down and damaging a sign at the front of the temple.

Police are now looking for help to identify the suspects.
