The mayor and his brother aim to reach broader audience online

The Ford brothers have resuscitated their weekly talk show, Ford Nation, on a YouTube channel, the mayor and his brother revealed on Thursday.

The first show will go online on February 10. The hope, according to Mayor Rob Ford and his brother, Coun. Doug Ford, will be to reach a broader audience.

The Fords began their broadcasting work with a weekly radio show called The City on Newstalk 1010. That show was cancelled in November in the wake of revelations Rob Ford smoked crack while in office. The Fords made another attempt at a talk show in late 2013. It was a television program called Ford Nation on the Sun News Network. It was cancelled after one episode.

The Fords say questions for the YouTube show can be sent to [email protected].

"Questions will be read and answered throughout the series. Mayor Ford and Councillor Ford encourage everyone to subscribe to their new channel and hear from them, directly and unfiltered," read a release by the Fords on Thursday.
