Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit by car involved in Etobicoke crash
Police asking anyone with video of Monday incident to reach out

A 42-year-old man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition Monday, Toronto police say, after he was struck by a Jeep that veered off a roadway after colliding with an SUV in Etobicoke.
It happened around 5:20 p.m. in the area of Kipling Avenue and Horner Avenue, police said in a news release Tuesday.
A 48-year-old man was in a white Nissan Murano on Horner Avenue at the time and was trying to make a left turn onto Kipling Avenue when he was struck by a 21-year-old man in a black Jeep Cherokee that was going through the intersection, investigators said.
The Jeep then veered off the roadway and hit a man who was standing on the northwest corner of the intersection, the news release reads.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, while the driver of the Nissan was hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene, police said.
Anyone with security or dash cam footage of the incident is being asked to contact Toronto police.
