Drake fans flock to promotional pop-up shop
Toronto rapper's new album Views from the 6 comes out on Friday

Drake fans flocked to Queen Street West on Sunday afternoon after the rapper announced a pop-up shop promoting his upcoming album, Views from the 6.
It didn't take long for a line to form after Drake posted an invite to Instagram an hour before the event started. Fans waited eagerly for free Views T-shirts.
"We were out in Leslieville and we sped down the Gardiner … and I bolted into line to get a wristband," said fan Aly Khan.

Fans have been waiting patiently for two years for the new album, which is now set to be released on Friday, he said.
Drake has recently held similar pop-up shops across the United States.
He thanked his fans and the city late Sunday in a tweet that included the album's very Toronto-esque cover.
To the city I love and the people in it...Thank you for everything <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/VIEWS?src=hash">#VIEWS</a> <a href="https://t.co/HEXHNwrWwd">pic.twitter.com/HEXHNwrWwd</a>
