Kansas City library marks ALCS with final tweet
Friendly online feud marked ups and downs of Blue Jays' series with Royals
A friendly online feud between the Toronto and Kansas City libraries has ended with a message of thanks and good sportsmanship, following the Blue Jays' defeat against the Royals.

- Librarians' ongoing ALCS Twitter rivalry heats up
The Kansas City Public Library on Saturday tweeted a final message to its Toronto counterpart:
Thank you for everything, Toronto! You're a class act. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NextYear?src=hash">#NextYear</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ComeTogether?src=hash">#ComeTogether</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/torontolibrary">@torontolibrary</a> <a href="https://t.co/bJJzSAzJZl">pic.twitter.com/bJJzSAzJZl</a>

The libraries traded jabs, challenges and put-downs — cobbled together from book titles — throughout the American League Championship Series.
Earlier messages included "Oh Canada, Say Goodnight to the Boys in Blue, Say Hello, Kansas City Barbeque," an apparent reference to a bet between the cities' top librarians, and "Warning, Kansas City, It Ain't Over Till It's Over."
There were similar exchanges last year between Kansas City and San Francisco, when their teams met at the World Series.
