One person has been taken to the hospital as a result of a two-vehicle collision involving a school bus in Thunder Bay, Ont., Friday morning. Here's what we know about the incident so far.

One person has been taken to the hospital as a result of a two-vehicle collision involving a school bus in Thunder Bay, Ont., Friday morning.

The incident was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. ET at River Street and High Street, a spokesperson for the Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) confirmed in an email to CBC News.

"No children were on the bus at the time of the collision," said TBPS media relations co-ordinator, Matt Vis.

A CBC News reporter on scene observed the area of High Street and Balsam Street closed to traffic around 10 a.m.

No details have been provided on the condition of the person taken to hospital.
