Woman rushed to hospital with 'serious' injuries after Lasalle crash: Sudbury Police
An elderly woman was sent to hospital with what are described as serious injuries after a crash on Lasalle Boulevard in New Sudbury. Sudbury Police say the woman got out of her vehicle at a red light and was struck by another car.
Police have reopened a section of Lasalle Boulevard in New Sudbury following a crash that sent an elderly woman to hospital, with what are described as serious injuries.
Greater Sudbury Police said it happened on Lasalle at the Rideau Street intersection just before 11:30 a.m.
A woman was out of her vehicle at a red light when she was hit by another car.
At the time westbound traffic had been backed up as police redirected traffic around the scene.
Police reopened the lanes around 1:00 p.m.
