Crime Stoppers offers reward in Coniston memorial vandalism
Anyone with information about the damage done to the War Memorial in Coniston could be eligible for a reward.

Anyone with information about the damage done to the War Memorial in Coniston could be eligible for a reward.
Greater Sudbury Police say the vandalism to the memorial was first noticed Sunday morning by people going to play baseball in the park.
Kirk Langdon with the Community Action Network said the granite benches were wrenched from their bases, broken up and tossed into the reflecting pool.
He said memorial wreaths were tossed into the water as well.
Damages are estimated in excess of $3,000.
Langdon said despite the damage, the monument will be repaired and ready by the commemoration on May 30.
A thousand dollar reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for tips received before midnight on Sunday May, 24 if the tip leads to an arrest.
