Sudbury CTV reporter Callam Rodya charged with child pornography offences released on bail

A Sudbury CTV reporter who has been charged with several child pornography offences has been released on bail.

On Thursday, Sudbury police arrested and charged 32-year-old Callam Senyk-O'Flanagan, also known as Callam Rodya.

A search had been conducted at his home on Wednesday and police found evidence of child pornography on computers. A small bag of suspected cocaine was also located.

He has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, three counts of accessing child pornography, three counts of making it available and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Rodya made his first court appearance on Thursday and was released on bail.

He's not to attend playgrounds or public beaches. His conditions also state he is to have no access to electronic devices with internet unless it is for work purposes.

Rodya's next court date is scheduled for March 20.

None of the charges against him have been proven in court.
