2 dead after head-on crash south of Yorkton, Sask.
Victims were 17 and 29 years old both from the Yorkton area
Two people are dead following a head-on collision on Highway 10 just south of Yorkton, Sask., about 188 kilometres northeast of Regina.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, at around 3:15 p.m. CST, RCMP from Yorkton and Melville and emergency services responded to a crash between two cars, one travelling southbound and the other heading north.

Police said two males, a 17 and 29 year old, both from the Yorkton area died from injuries. Another 18-year-old male was transported to Regina General Hospital with serious injuries. The names of the victims are not being released yet.
As a result of the crash, Highway 10 was closed for five hours so RCMP could investigate. The highway has since been reopened.
Collision reconstructionists are still trying to figure out what caused the crash.
