Man facing break-in charges after Taser incident at Saskatoon home
Police say man became aggressive and agitated before officers used Taser
Saskatoon police used a Taser against a 26-year-old man who allegedly broke into a home on the 1400 block of Idylwyld Drive N. on Friday night.
Officers went to the home after receiving a report of screaming and damage being done inside at about 6:15 p.m. CST.
Police said they found the 26-year-old inside causing significant damage to the home and, although he was co-operative when he left the house, the situation escalated outside.

Police say the man became agitated and aggressive toward the officers and refused to comply with their commands.
They tried multiple times to arrest the man before using a stun gun.
He was checked by paramedics and cleared at the scene before being taken into custody.
The 26-year-old man is now facing charges of breaking and entering and committing mischief, as well as several counts of breach of a court order. He already had an outstanding warrant for breach of a court order.
He was scheduled to appear in front of a justice of the peace Saturday morning.
Police said the Taser incident will be reviewed under police policy.
