Saskatoon police seized about three pounds of pot from a dispensary where they were called to respond to a break and enter Tuesday morning.

At about 10 a.m. CST, police were called to Canna-World on the 600 block of Third Ave N. for a report of a break and enter. When they arrived, officers saw what they believed to be raw cannabis. Police said they called Health Canada and were informed the business does not have a valid possession or sales licence.

After obtaining a search warrant, they raided the business at about 4 p.m. CST the same day.

As a result of the search police seized three pounds of pot, $400 cash, and some 300 marijuana-based derivatives from the dispensary.

The investigation is focused on trying to determine who owns and runs the store. No charges have been laid.
