Saskatoon police treating death in Dundonald neighbourhood as a homicide
Saskatoon police are investigating a suspicious death in a home on 33rd Street W.

Saskatoon police are treating the death of a woman found in the basement of a home in the Dundonald neighbourhood as a homicide.
Officers responded to a house at 3206 33rd St. W. just before noon CST Monday after reports of an "insecure property."
They found 24-year-old Melissa Duquette dead in the basement, according to a police news release. Cause of death was not released.
Police still had the home and yard taped off Monday evening.
Then, just after midnight CST Tuesday, Saskatoon police were on the scene of a shooting on Avenue O where a 25-year-old died.
Saskatoon has now recorded eight homicides so far this year.
There were 12 homicides in all of 2023.
