Police: Death of woman found on Saskatoon's outskirts suspicious

Police say the death of a woman who was found early this morning by a passerby near Valley Road is suspicious.

Police in Saskatoon say the death of a woman found on the city's outskirts is suspicious  

A passerby found her badly injured around 6 a.m. CST this morning off Valley Road in the Cedar Villa area. She died shortly after being found in hospital. 

Police said the woman was found "in medical distress." When paramedics arrived, a "medical attempt" was made before they took the woman to the hospital.

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the woman. She is described as Caucasian and approximately 20-35 years old. She was last seen wearing a black leather-style jacket with leopard print lining and a Quartz watch with diamonds surrounding an orange face.

The woman has a lion tattoo on her left shoulder blade and two stars tattooed on her left hand.

Following this, police blocked off less than a kilometre of Township Road 362-A near the Chappell Marsh Conservation Area and an off-leash dog park along the road.
