Something strange is going on in the Canadian sporting landscape. 

Two Canadians, Milos Raonic and Eugenie Bouchard, have advanced to the semi-finals at Wimbledon for the first time in our nation's history. 

The Toronto Blue Jays are number one in the American League. 

The CFL was covered last week by hugely popular American sportswriter Peter King and his online publication, The MMQB

And World Cup soccer talk can be heard in local coffee shops.
