It's a little instrument that makes a mighty sound when played by dozens of people at the same time — the ukulele.

In Regina, it's the passion of some 30 members of the Queen City Ukes.

Once a month, the rag-tag group of ukulele players of all ages and abilities come together to jam.

It's the brainchild of Kendra Walker and her husband Peter, who own Sawchun Guitars on Dewdney Avenue.

The Morning Edition's Eric Anderson sat in with 30 ukulele lovers and and discovered some of the happiest people in town.

(Their next jam session is on Oct. 7 at Sawchyn Guitars in Regina.)
