Labour Day classic at Mosaic stadium is a sellout for Roughriders

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are on a winning streak — in ticket sales. The club announced that Sunday's football game is sold out, marking the second capacity crowd in a row for the team.

On the field, the Riders are 1-8. They face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers who have been on a winning streak taking them to 5-4.

The Sunday Labour Day Classic game will be packed with 33,427 fans, the team said.

"The annual Labour Day Classic is always a special game on the home schedule," club CEO Craig Reynolds said. "Rider Nation continues to show their tremendous support for their team."

According to the club, the Roughriders currently lead the league in home attendance, averaging 31,127 tickets sold for their first four regular season games at Mosaic Stadium.

This will be the final Labour Day Classic played at the current Mosaic Stadium. The club moves into a new facility for the 2017 CFL season.
