Playlist: National Polka Day party!

In honour of National Polka Day, we've created a playlist composed of songs that polka musicians across Saskatchewan have told us were their favourite to perform live.

For some it was the music of their homeland, for others it was a reason to dance and socialize.

Communities across the province have embraced and celebrated polka music for decades. As any good event planner knows, you can't host a festival or social gathering without booking a band. That's why Saskatchewan has remained a hotbed of polka musicians for hire.

Several remain active today, so we decided to ask three of them: What is your favourite polka to perform live?
