Christie brand Original Mini Ritz Crackers have been recalled across Canada because they may contain milk, which isn't noted on the label and could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction to those with allergies.
"The affected product is being recalled from the marketplace because it may contain milk, which is not declared on the label," the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said in its notice.
"The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing recalled products from the marketplace."
There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product, the CFIA said.
The recalled crackers were distributed nationally and have a printed UPC of "0 66721 02774 0." Their best-before dates are June 22, 23 and 24, 2025.
The recall was triggered by the company. Anyone who purchased the recalled Mini Ritz should either throw them out or return them, according to the CFIA.
