Police investigating graffiti in Kensington
Kensington police say vehicles, homes, businesses and signs were targeted
Kensington police are investigating several graffiti incidents through the town. Chief Lewie Sutherland said vehicles, houses, businesses and road signs were hit.
"Sometime overnight, the person or persons started near the elementary school spray painting traffic signs. A number of vehicles were done, and they continued up through the industrial park where they broke a window and continued on the Confederation Trail until they reached another apartment building on Broadway Street South, where it appears that it stopped," said Sutherland. "They were painting different parts of the human body, the anatomy. "
Sutherland said there are at least seven confirmed reports.
The vandals used two different colours of paint; gold and white.
Sutherland said because of the wet weather, the paint seemed to come off the cars relatively easily, but that was not the case for the buildings.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Kensington police department or Crimestoppers.
