And the winners are… Here's who took home 2025 Music P.E.I. Awards

Vishtèn Connexions, Absolute Losers and Dylan Menzie each won twice during Saturday night's awards gala at Charlottetown’s Confederation Centre of the Arts.

Music P.E.I. Week was capped off by Saturday night's awards gala, with a slew of artists and producers taking home some hardware. 

Absolute Losers, Vishtèn Connexions and Dylan Menzie each won twice during the gala at Charlottetown's Confederation Centre of the Arts. 

Vishtèn Connextions earned Album of the Year and Traditional Roots Recording of the Year for Expansion, a collaborative album with fellow Island entertainers. 

Both the year's best single and pop recording went to Absolute Losers for By Fright and At the Mall, respectively. 

Menzie was named Songwriter of the Year, while the album art for his North American Dream Kid was also honoured. That cover was created by graphic designer Niyi Adeogun and photographer Justin Rix.

  • Live Sector Award: Craig Fair Productions.
  • Music Video of the Year: Lawrence Maxwell — What You See In Me (feat. Brooke MacArthur). Directed by Jesse Duarte.
  • Musician of the Year: Maya Márquez.
  • New Artist of the Year: Bettii — Shyyyyyy:).
  • Pop Recording of the Year: Absolute Losers — At The Mall.
  • Rising Tide Community Fund Prix de L'Acadie: Aubin pi la S.C.B.
  • R&B/Soul Recording of the Year: Joce Reyome — Mr. Rain.
  • Rap/Hip-hop Recording of the Year: Cavy — Bad Games (feat. Merkules).
  • Recording Sector Award: Colin Buchanan.
  • Rock Recording of the Year: Gizmo — Buddy System.
  • Single of the Year: Absolute Losers — By Fright.
