Staffing problems force museum to 'explore other options,' board president says
The Garden of the Gulf Museum in Montague, P.E.I., has suspended operations until further notice.
The president of the museum's volunteer board of directors says it is "exploring other options."
John MacDonald said the decision was made at a meeting of the board Wednesday night. The decision has to do with staffing problems, he said.
MacDonald wouldn't comment further.
The museum houses more than 5,000 artifacts, with an archives and storage facility.
The Garden of the Gulf museum is usually open from mid-June to late September.
