Province has been trying to sell golf courses for years

Tourism Minister Rob Henderson said both the government and the potential buyer agreed to end the negotiations.

In November Henderson announced that negotiations were in their final stages, and a deal was expected within weeks.

But in December Henderson said there were complications. He now says there will be no deal.

With the possibility of a deal gone, the province will again operate Crowbush this summer, along with the other three provincially-owned golf courses.

Henderson said the province is still in discussions for the possible sale of the Mill River Golf Course.
