Harness driver injured in P.E.I. racing accident

A harness racing accident has left a driver injured in Charlottetown on Saturday.

It happened at the Red Shores Track.

Ronnie Matheson was driving Oakrock Almighty when one of the horse's hooves became caught in a wheel that had come off another bike.

The horse went down and Matheson suffered some cuts.

There's no word on the condition of the horse, but Red Shores said Matheson will recover.
