Woman charged with criminal negligence after 9-year-old girl killed in ATV crash
OPP say child was driving ATV when it rolled over in North Frontenac Township in October

Ontario provincial police say a woman has been charged with criminal negligence causing death in connection with an ATV crash that claimed the life of a nine-year-old girl in the fall.
OPP Const. Rob Martell said the girl was operating the vehicle when it rolled over. The accused was not present when the crash occurred, he said.
Emergency services were called to Greer Road in North Frontenac Township on Oct. 24 after someone spotted an overturned ATV in a ditch.
The nine-year-old girl was found injured nearby and later pronounced dead at the scene, according to OPP.
On Tuesday, police announced they'd charged a 35-year-old woman from the area with causing death by criminal negligence. OPP have not specified the relationship between the victim and the accused.
The woman is scheduled to appear in a Kingston courtroom in June.
Greer Road is a long rural road near Big Gull Lake, about 50 kilometres west of Perth and 75 kilometres north of Kingston.
