Ontario Votes 2025: Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes
Decades of PC support along this stretch of the St. Lawrence
Ontario's riding with the longest name borders the St. Lawrence River from Gananoque to Brockville to Cardinal, and as far north as Kemptville and Westport.
Voters here have chosen the Progressive Conservatives since the 1950s and MPP Steve Clark since 2010.
He won about 58 per cent of the vote last time around. In 2023, he resigned as housing minister following multiple investigations into his ministry's handling of the Greenbelt land swaps.
Seven candidates are running for the seat. Nominations closed Feb. 13.
Voting is now possible at local election offices. Advance voting locations are open Feb. 20-22. Voting day is Feb. 27. Elections Ontario has more information on the range of voting options.
