Victim ID'd after fatal stabbing near ByWard Market
Adrian Johnson, 45, was found on King Edward Avenue suffering from stab wounds
Ottawa police are investigating the city's 13th homicide of 2017 after a man in his 40s was stabbed to death early Saturday morning near the ByWard Market.
Police were called to a stretch of King Edward Avenue between Murray and York streets at around 5 a.m.
The man was taken to hospital, police said, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified Sunday as 45-year-old Adrian Johnson.
The homicide occurred this morning at about 5 a.m. The victim was pronounced dead in hospital.
