Ottawa Rapid FC will make history when it hosts its first game against AFC Toronto FC at TD Place on Sunday, April 27. 


Fans can expect an action-packed season of the Northern Super League, Canada's first-ever professional women's soccer league. The six founding clubs include Halifax Tides FC, Montreal Roses FC, Ottawa Rapid FC, AFC Toronto, Calgary Wild FC, and Vancouver Rise FC.

How to watch 

The CBC will broadcast eight regular-season matches. A "Game of the Week" will co-stream simultaneously on CBC Gem and NSL.ca, while 24 other matches will co-stream simultaneously on TSN+ and NSL.ca.

More about the Northern Super League

Built by players and supporters, the Northern Super League is rooted in global best practices and strives to champion Canadian excellence in sport, equity, and inclusion.

Teams will consist of up to 25 players, with eight international players permitted per team.

Each Northern Super League club will play 25 regular season matches.
