On Tuesday, June 6, CBC Ottawa's Creator Network celebrated its one year anniversary with a diverse community of young digital storytellers and local creators in Ottawa.

It was a celebration of creativity and a showcase of a growing community of creators in Ottawa.  

The event was hosted at the Ottawa Art Gallery and began with a screening of selected Creator Network content pieces. This was followed by a panel discussion with Creator Network members Abdullah Usman, Josh Murphy and Pearly Pouponneau. The panel was hosted by CBC Ottawa's Omar Dabaghi-Pacheco.

The attendees gained insight into storytelling, video content creation and the creative pitch process at CBC Ottawa. They also had the opportunity to build connections and network with other diverse local creators who are making waves in the arts, film and storytelling communities.

In attendance were CBC Ottawa's Christine Maki, Ash Abraham and Adele Cardamone-Martel.
