Canada Votes 2025: Ottawa South
The longtime Liberal riding shifts further southward

Liberal since 1988, Ottawa South is moving farther south for this campaign.
The usual independent boundary review that comes every decade has to adjust ridings for population. It also tries to avoid splitting neighbourhoods.
To keep areas around the Rideau River together, Ottawa South loses the Billings Bridge and Mooney's Bay areas to Ottawa Centre.
To divide suburban and rural parts of the city, Findlay Creek moves here from Carleton.
