Canada Votes 2025: Hastings-Lennox and Addington-Tyendinaga

Some of Quinte West shifts from Bay of Quinte to here during the independent redrawing of the electoral map.

Mostly rural riding includes more of Quinte West this time

A riding map along Lake Ontario.
Hastings-Lennox and Addington-Tyendinaga stretches from Lake Ontario to Algonquin Park. It has a longer riding name and more of Quinte West this election. (Elections Canada)

Some of Quinte West shifts from Bay of Quinte due to the redrawing of the electoral map.

The regular independent boundary review that followed the 2021 census takes some of the city and gives it to Hastings-Lennox and Addington-Tyendinaga.

Specifically, the riding border generally shifts from Quinte West's eastern flank near Highway 62 to the Trent River north of Highway 401.

Check with Elections Canada to confirm your riding.

The riding stretches from Lake Ontario through Napanee, northern Belleville and Tweed before ending in Hastings Highlands with a tiny slice of Algonquin Park.

Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory is within and its presence has been noted in the riding name.

Its boundaries previously changed in the redrawing after the 2011 census. The Liberals won it by 225 votes in 2015, the no -former Conservative MP Derek Sloan swung it in 2019 and Shelby Kramp-Neuman notched another Conservative win in 2021 by more than 5,000 votes.

Campus advance voting is April 13 to 18, general advance voting is April 18 to 21 and the deadline to apply to vote by mail is April 22. Elections Canada has more information on voting options ahead of election day on Monday, April 28.
