Busy ByWard Market parking garage partially reopened
Starting today, it should be easier to find a parking space in the ByWard Market. After being shut down for extensive renovations in mid March, the 290-space garage at 70 Clarence St. was partially reopened this morning.
After construction delays, garage expected to be fully open by end of June
After being shut down for extensive renovations in mid-March, the 290-space garage at 70 Clarence St. run by the City of Ottawa was partially reopened this morning.
The 1.6 million dollar renovation to the multistory garage was originally scheduled to be completed by early May, but repairs to the entrance ramp took longer than expected.
This morning 200 parking spots were made available.
City of Ottawa officials say the entire garage will reopen when all the work is completed by the end of June.
