Police are investigating after they discovered a dead man in a Timberlea, N.S., home early Friday morning

The RCMP emergency response team entered the home on Tiger Maple Drive around 1:20 a.m.

Neighbours were told to stay in their homes last night, but that order has since been lifted.

One neighbour, who did not want to be named, said she didn't know the homeowners well.

"They kept to themselves," she said.

"[It's] scary because it's normally a quiet, nice area."

Spokesman Sgt. Alain LeBlanc says they will have more information later this morning.
