Mooseheads seats at finals hot tickets online
Halifax hockey team will start the President Cup finals on home ice Friday
Tickets to this week’s President Cup series aren’t on sale yet, but already they’re going for three times their face value online.
Friday, the Halifax Mooseheads will face off against Baie-Comeau Drakkar on home ice for the first game of the final series for the QMJHL title.
Tickets don’t officially go on sale until Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. But online classifieds are already listing offers from season ticket holders.
A pair of tickets near the ice range from $150 to $200 depending on the seller. One offers an added bonus – the opportunity to high-five some of the hometown heroes.
Tickets bought though the official site, however, are significantly cheaper - just $20 for the upper bowl, and an extra dollar for the lower bowl.
For the ultimate fan who wants to see every home game, one seller online is offering a pair for $900.
Other posters hoping to avoid a line up Tuesday have offered large amounts for their chance to snag a ticket.
The Halifax Mooseheads have become the hottest ticket in the city. The team is on a 12-game winning streak through the playoffs, and fans are anxious for the team to win the President Cup series for the first time.
