Body of missing 29-year-old Meteghan diver found

A body of a diver who went missing in St. Marys Bay off Digby County was recovered on Friday. 

The 29-year-old from Meteghan, N.S., who went missing on Aug. 30 was found by a civilian dive team, according to the RCMP. 

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre led the initial search last weekend. 

RCMP aerial search and underwater recovery teams were in the area this week. 

Several local fire services as well as ground search and rescue assisted with the search.
