Monday marks the beginning of a new era for CBC Halifax.
For the first time, CBC Television, CBC Radio and digital services are all being presented from the same building, at 7067 Chebucto Rd.
CBC Halifax now occupies a renovated space that was formerly home to the Bay department store in the west end of Halifax.
Before the move, CBC employees worked out of two buildings near the Halifax Common: one on Sackville Street and one on Bell Road.
At 44,000 square feet, the integrated space is smaller than the two older buildings, which together comprised 143,000 square feet.
Daybreak and Information Morning kick off the CBC's radio coverage. The first live television images from Chebucto Road will be CBC News: Nova Scotia at Five.
