Those who have received a call about these items can pick them up at their nearest location using a valid government ID on Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. – aside from the Antigonish Access Nova Scotia centre for this weekend.
This list of essential items include:
- Heating Assistance Rebate Program cheques.
- Maintenance Enforcement Program cheques.
- Seniors Care Grant cheques.
- Property Tax Rebate for Seniors payments.
- long-term care reassessment forms.
It may be possible to arrange pickup for another day. People can ask about other options when they are contacted by staff concerning their items.
Department of Community Services clients wondering about a cheque should contact their caseworkers directly.
