Multiple people arrested in N.W.T. drug busts this week, RCMP say
Police seized 465 grams of crack cocaine in Fort Resolution, 12 grams of 'suspected' crack in Inuvik

Police in the Northwest Territories have charged multiple people with drug-related crimes after drug busts in Inuvik and Fort Resolution earlier this week.
Three arrests were made in Fort Resolution after an incident on Tuesday.
In a Friday news release, RCMP said they got a call that several shots were fired in a Fort Resolution residence on Tuesday. Following that call, police arrested three people — an Ontario man, an Alberta man, and a Northwest Territories woman.
None of the people were legal tenants of the residence, police said.
Police later obtained a warrant and searched the house.
Police found 465 grams of crack cocaine, 79 grams of illegal cannabis, two loaded sawn-off shotguns and "other drug paraphernalia," RCMP said in the news release.
The two men are each facing multiple charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to traffic it, possession of a prohibited firearm, and unlawfully being at a residence.
Both of the men are also facing charges in other jurisdictions.
The N.W.T. woman who was arrested has not yet been charged. She was released, and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
2 arrested in Inuvik
Police also completed a drug bust at Inuvik's Nova Apartments complex on Thursday, Northwest Territories RCMP said in a separate news release on Friday.
Police said they obtained a warrant to search the apartment after getting a tip that drugs were being sold in the building.
After executing the search warrant, police said they found approximately 12 grams of "suspected crack cocaine," $700 in cash, and "other paraphernalia."
Two men, both 19-year-olds from British Columbia, have been charged with possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking following the drug bust.
